Insomnia Treatment (4) : LET'S EXERCISE!!!

This is another great insomnia treatment that you can employ to overcome insomnia and create your good night sleep. I think many people know the benefits of exercise, but some of you might wonder how does it improve your sleep and beat insomnia!?!
Theresa F. Di Geronimo, an insomnia treatment expert, stated that "The body temperature of individuals who are awake during the day and sleep during the night peaks in the early evening and bottoms out in the early morning just befor waking.

People who experience insomnia tend to have a flatter temperature rhythm. Because insomniacs are less alert and less active during the day, their body temperature increases less during the day and decreases less during the night, causing their sleep to become shallow"

Therefore, if your exercise is performed in the evening, you are more likely to have a good night sleep as the temperature will be very low during bedtime. On the other hand, if your exercise is performed minutes before you get to bed, you might experience a difficult time to fall asleep as your body need to be declining to promote sleep. Some experts believe that half an hour exercise between 5 to 7 hours before you go to bed will encourage you to get a good night sleep.

Now... you understand clearly how exercise is another great treatment to improve your sleep and beat insomnia, so don't muck around, let's go to the gym and start exercising!!!
